[LEGAL]

Terms of Service.

Here's the deal between you and iRocket Careers, in language you can actually read.

Draft · last updated pending launch

This is a plain-English preview, not final legal text. We're finalizing these terms with counsel before iRocket's public launch. The substance here is accurate to how the product works today and what's coming next. Questions in the meantime? Contact us.

Today, iRocket helps you find jobs and apply to them — free. We list roles gathered from other sources, and the actual applying happens on those sources' own sites. In return, we ask you to use iRocket honestly and to understand a few limits, all spelled out below.

If you use iRocket, these terms apply to you. If something here doesn't work for you, the simplest answer is not to use the service — but we'd rather you tell us, so read on and reach out if anything's unclear.

1. Who we are & what iRocket is

iRocket Careers (“iRocket,” “we,” “us”) is a job platform and a venture of Just Badge Worldwide.

What the service is today: an aggregated job board. We collect job listings from third-party sources and put them in one searchable place, focused on the two ends most boards handle worst — entry-level and senior roles. You can search, save jobs, and set email alerts with a free account. When you want to apply, we send you to the source's own site to do it there.

What's coming (not live yet): free skills tools (a Skills Snapshot that scores your real work, and job matching), plus an option to turn a self-scored result into a verified credential through our sister platform, ELITE. These features are in development and are described in Section 8 so you know what's ahead — but they aren't part of the live service yet, and nothing on the site today should be read as offering them.

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, setting a job alert, or otherwise using iRocket, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using iRocket for an organization, you're telling us you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

If we update these terms, the “Last updated” date at the top changes and — for meaningful changes — we'll give you notice (see Section 15). Using iRocket after an update means you accept the current version.

3. Who can use iRocket

You need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. iRocket isn't built for children, and we don't knowingly create accounts for anyone below that age. You also agree to follow any laws that apply to you when you use the service.

4. Your account

A free account lets you save jobs and set alerts (and, later, hold your skills profile). A few plain rules:

  • Give us accurate info. Use a real email you can access — that's how magic-link sign-in and your alerts reach you.
  • Keep your login yours. You're responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, tell us.
  • One account per person. Please don't run multiple accounts to get around limits or game any feature.
  • Sign-in options. You can sign in with a magic link to your email, or with Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub. When you use one of those, we receive basic profile details (like your name and email) from that provider — see the Privacy Policy.

You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account too, under the rules in Section 14.

5. The jobs are aggregated — you apply on the source's site

This is the most important thing to understand about iRocket, so we'll be plain about it.

We don't post these jobs, and we're not the employer. iRocket gathers listings, under license, from third-party job sources (see Section 10). We put them in one place and help you search them. That's it.

Applying happens off iRocket. When you click “Apply,” you leave iRocket and go to the source's or employer's own website to apply there. iRocket doesn't collect, process, or forward your application, and doesn't sit between you and the employer. What you share on that other site, and what they do with it, is governed by their terms and privacy policy — not ours.

We can't guarantee the listings. Because the jobs come from other sources, we don't control and can't promise their accuracy, completeness, availability, salary, or that a role is still open — details can be out of date the moment a source changes them. Treat a listing as a pointer to the real thing, and confirm the details on the source's site before you rely on them.

We try to keep it clean, but check before you apply. We work to filter out obvious scams and bad-faith postings, and you can flag anything that looks off with “Report this job.” That said, please use your own judgment — legitimate employers won't ask you to pay to apply or send money to get hired.

6. What iRocket costs

For candidates, iRocket is free — searching, saving, alerts, and (when they ship) the skills tools. We may add paid features later, and a separate product for employers is planned; if we ever charge you for something, we'll make that clear before you pay, and the terms covering it will be spelled out at that time.

7. Acceptable use

iRocket is built for fewer, real, proven applications — not spray-and-pray. Keep it that way. When you use iRocket, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-harvest listings or any other data from the service.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to mass-apply, mass-message, or hammer our systems.
  • Break, probe, or work around our security, rate limits, or bot protection.
  • Misrepresent your identity, your work, or anyone else's — including passing off someone else's work as your own (this matters more once the skills tools ship).
  • Post or send anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing through the service.
  • Reuse or resell our listings, data, or content outside what these terms allow.
  • Interfere with anyone else's use of iRocket.

Break these and we may limit, suspend, or close your account (Section 14).

8. The skills tools & ELITE verification (coming — not live yet)

These features are in development. We're describing them here so the terms are ready when they ship, but they aren't part of the live service today.

  • Skills Snapshot & matching. Free tools that will look at your real work and produce a self-scored result and job matches, with the reasons shown. A self-scored result is a strong signal of where you stand — it is not independently verified proof, and you agree not to present it as verified.
  • Get Verified with ELITE. You'll be able to turn a self-scored result into a verified credential through ELITE, our sister platform. Verification will be provided by ELITE under its own terms, which you'll agree to separately; any credential you earn is yours to keep and carry.
  • Your visibility, your call. You'll control whether your profile stays anonymous or becomes discoverable to employers — nothing about you goes to an employer unless you turn that on and choose what's shown.

We don't promise you an interview, an offer, or any hiring outcome — from the board today or the tools later. We help you get found and matched; the hiring decision is the employer's.

9. Your content & our stuff

What you add stays yours. Anything you submit — your profile, saved searches, and (later) the work you show in a Snapshot — remains yours. You give us a limited license to store and use it only to run the service for you (for example, to save your alerts or produce your score). You promise you have the right to submit whatever you submit.

What's ours stays ours. The iRocket software, design, brand, name, and our scoring method and rubric are ours (or our licensors'). These terms don't give you the right to copy, resell, or reuse them beyond normal use of the service.

10. Third-party job sources & attribution

The listings on iRocket come, under license, from third-party job-data providers, and our skills vocabulary is built on public data. Each listing links you to the original posting on the source's own site, where you apply.

11. Links to other sites

iRocket links out constantly — to apply pages, employer sites, and source sites. We don't control those places and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or how they handle your data. Once you leave iRocket, that site's terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

12. Disclaimers

We work to keep iRocket useful, accurate, and available — but we provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that listings are accurate or current (see Section 5), or that it will fit a particular purpose of yours.

13. Limitation of liability

In plain terms: iRocket is a free service that points you to jobs other people posted, so there's a limit to what we can be on the hook for. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (like a job you didn't get, a listing that turned out to be wrong, or what happens on a site we linked you to), and our total liability to you for any claim is capped at an amount we'll state here once it's finalized with counsel.

14. Suspension & termination

You can leave anytime. Close your account whenever you want; the Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.

We can act when needed. We may limit, suspend, or close your account if you break these terms, put the service or other people at risk, or where the law requires it. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to sort it out. Some parts of these terms (like the IP, disclaimer, and liability sections) keep applying after your account ends.

15. Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the “Last updated” date, and for meaningful changes we'll give you reasonable notice — by email or a notice in the product. If you keep using iRocket after a change takes effect, that means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law & disputes

These terms, and how any dispute is resolved, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Just Badge Worldwide is established. The specific governing law, venue, and whether disputes go through arbitration will be finalized and stated here before public launch.
