We believe in the life changing impact youth sports have on and off the field. Sports encourage leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and confidence
So if you love sports and their community building potential, or building cool products is your sport, GameChanger is the team for you. We are a remote-first, dynamic tech company based in New York City, and we are solving some of the biggest challenges in youth sports today.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end design process on our Stats & Insights team, where we're focused on helping coaches, parents, and players get more value out of the game data we capture.
The role demands creative problem solving, excellent execution, and the ambition to take projects from start to finish. You're a critical thinker with an innovative approach to making complex data and systems simple enough for anyone to understand and use. You must be energized by achieving ambitious goals alongside teammates in product, engineering, and marketing.
Lead the end-to-end design process and ship features across mobile and web platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to influence the product from conception to execution through a user-centered approach.
Use AI tools throughout your design process — from concepting and prototyping to identifying repeatable workflows worth automating.
Speak with customers frequently, collect data, test prototypes, and translate research insights into meaningful outcomes.
Facilitate design sprints and workshops to develop high-quality solutions.
Craft intuitive design flows, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web.
Help evolve and grow the design practice at GameChanger. Contribute to our design system, be vocal in design critiques, share inspirational resources, and aid in brainstorms.
Question the status quo and advocate for change.
You've demonstrated the ability to rapidly build fluency in an unfamiliar domain through user research.
You have real knowledge of and personal investment in sports either as a fan or player. Particularly valuable for this role given the team's focus, though not required if the above is strong.
You've integrated AI tools into your design workflow for research synthesis, rapid concepting, prototyping, or exploring solutions faster than traditional methods allow.
You've been designing user-centered experiences for at least 5 years.
You’ve designed and shipped multiple native iOS and Android experiences and understand the unique interaction patterns, constraints, and opportunities of mobile design.
Your portfolio isn't just high-fidelity mockups; it showcases impact, process, sketches, collaboration, and reflection. You have at least two detailed case studies.
You've taken large problems and broken them down into bite-sized measurable chunks.
You have experience conducting user research, facilitating user interviews and user tests, digging through data, and synthesizing findings to identify trends and make recommendations.
You advocate for design by articulating and presenting the rationale behind your ideas.
You care about moving your team forward and look for ways to positively impact the team.
You're focused on results and constantly looking to improve the user experience.
You take the time to seek out and provide meaningful feedback because you know it's the best way to grow.
You are self-aware and humble.
You have experience designing for data-heavy products — turning raw information into something people can act on.
You've helped other designers or teams adopt AI tools effectively, and you're excited about shaping how a design team matures its AI practice.
