You will own backend-heavy product and platform work from design through production, build and scale systems supporting billions of dollars in mortgage transactions, design reliable distributed infrastructure for complex regulatory requirements, and use modern AI coding tools while maintaining a high bar for human review and correctness.
You will partner across product, infrastructure, and platform teams and contribute to architecture, system design, and engineering standards.
3 to 10 years of backend-leaning software engineering experience. Experience at a product-focused software company with clear ownership and progression. Excellent data structures and algorithms fundamentals, including the ability to solve coding problems without AI assistance. Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.
Strong product judgment, communication, and comfort in a high-growth environment. Daily proficiency with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools. Python, React, Docker, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud Platform experience is helpful.
Base salary of $210,000 to $300,000 depending on level and experience, competitive equity, comprehensive benefits, and 12 weeks of paid parental leave. Full-time remote work within the United States, with optional office access in New York City and San Francisco. Visa sponsorship and transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers, may be supported.
