We're a CPaaS company providing scalable infrastructure for real-time communications, from automated phone line testing to large-scale voice and messaging systems. Our platform combines RESTful APIs, dashboards, and backend orchestration layers to help organizations deliver mission-critical communication at scale.

We're looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to take ownership of significant parts of our stack, raise the bar on engineering quality, and help a small team move fast using modern tooling, including AI-assisted development.

Design, build, and maintain full-stack functionality across frontend UI applications and backend API services.

Own features and systems end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, release, and production support.

Lead architecture discussions and make pragmatic technical decisions that balance delivery speed, reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as a core part of your workflow to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging, while owning the correctness and quality of everything you ship.

Help define how the team uses AI tooling effectively and safely, including review standards for AI-generated code.

Mentor other engineers through code review, pairing, and design feedback.

Collaborate with product owners and the QA team to scope work, clarify requirements, and deliver clean, performant, maintainable code.

Participate in biweekly planning, code reviews, and release planning, and drive technical planning for larger initiatives.

Improve deployment pipelines, build tooling, and monitoring/debugging in staging and production.

Write and champion unit and integration tests to maintain application quality across the stack.

Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response when needed, and drive postmortem reviews to meaningful follow-through.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production systems.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks such as React and Angular.

Deep experience building and maintaining server-side applications in Java.

Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as a regular part of your development workflow, including generating and refactoring code, writing tests, and debugging, while validating the output and owning its correctness.

Experience with Docker and containerized application development.

Strong knowledge of SDLC and DevOps best practices, with a track record of improving them.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP microservice architecture, including designing APIs others depend on.

Comfortable with Git-based workflows, debugging across the stack, and shell scripting.

Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.

A willingness to learn, grow, and contribute in a collaborative remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with telecom or CPaaS systems (SMS, SIP, voice calling, etc.).

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and messaging systems like Kafka and RabbitMQ.

Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.

Experience building internal tooling, agents, or integrations on top of LLM APIs.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
