Senior Software Engineer (Telework Eligible)

Summary

Join a team developing and supporting tools and services that enhance enterprise development workflows. This role focuses on Java-based software development, automation, integrations, and modernization across the Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical challenges, building efficient solutions, and collaborating with developers, system administrators, project managers, and mission customers.

Required

9 years of relevant Software Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI).

Strong scripting experience with Bash, Python, and/or Groovy.

Recent Java software development experience in Linux environments.

Experience with the Spring Framework.

Experience with modern web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.

Experience with Apache Velocity.

Experience with OpenSearch.

Experience using the Atlassian Plugin SDK to create or extend Atlassian applications.

Experience documenting configurations, procedures, and system changes.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional TE or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly

Desired

Experience with the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible.

Experience with cloud technologies.

Experience developing integrations and services that improve workflows and productivity.

• Salary Range: $ 185,000 - $230,000
• The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary. The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position.
