Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with professional communication and customer service.

What You'll Do

Provide customer service to patients, staff, donors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including parking areas, entrances, lobbies, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors while following post orders and healthcare location requirements.

Support Allied Universal and location personnel during medical-related incidents, disruptive behavior, and/or emergency situations by maintaining a professional presence and communicating with local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements

Possess 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
