The Position

As a Software Engineer at Foureyes, you'll build, enhance, and maintain the cloud-based applications that power our platform. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and product while contributing across multiple products and technology stacks.

We embrace AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery, improve collaboration, and raise engineering quality. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn new technologies as our platform evolves.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, test, deploy, monitor, and support software across multiple products, moving comfortably between diverse technology stacks as business needs evolve.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, testing, code review, deployment, and production support.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to deliver new capabilities, resolve production issues, and continuously improve our systems.
• Write clean, maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs and event-driven services with a focus on scalability, security, reliability, and developer experience.
• Build resilient distributed systems that prioritize performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
• Thoroughly test your own code and review and test code written by fellow engineers to ensure end-to-end quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We're looking for engineers who are adaptable, collaborative, and customer-focused. Ideal candidates will have:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience with one or more modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, React, or TypeScript.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git-based development workflows, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience monitoring and troubleshooting production systems using observability platforms such as Datadog, Amazon CloudWatch, or similar tools.
• Enthusiasm for AI-assisted software development and an interest in using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to improve engineering productivity.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Amazon Bedrock Agents, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies while contributing across multiple products and codebases.

Education and Experience

• You have a strong academic record (CS degree preferred but not required with relevant experience)
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years of professional full-stack development experience (6+ years for a Sr. SWE) using NodeJS, ReactJS, Python, or Java, along with proficiency in industry-standard programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS, and interfacing with real-time databases.

Location: This position is remote. We are hiring in the following states. AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, IA, ID, KY, MA, MD, MI, MN, NV, NH, NJ, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WA

Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 (up to $150,000 for Sr. SWE) DOE
