Summary
The Field Specialist is a customer-facing representative of our product and dispensary brands in Maryland. This position will be responsible for engaging with the community to provide education and answer questions through in-store demos and events and communicating in-store promotions. Must have excellent time management skills and be willing to work some evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
Responsible for representing our brands and products in community, retail, and marketing events.
Become a brand expert, able to answer questions about product benefits and provide product knowledge.
Build brand awareness and loyalty by creating memorable patient/customer experiences.
Must set-up and breakdown tables, tents, swag items and marketing collateral in-store and other events.
Manage the distribution/inventory of marketing swag and collateral for events and giveaways.
Establish and maintain relationships with local community partners.
Manage and adhere to established schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while ensuring accuracy and follow through.
Partner with and maintain productive working relationships with the dispensary, wholesale, and manufacturing teams.
Works productively with internal cross-functional teams as well as with external partners.
Majority of the work will require state-wide travel.
Manage in-store displays and keep product marketing displays up to date with accounts.
Must attend scheduled meetings and maintain good communications in real time while on site.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing, agency or promotional setting
Experience in the cannabis industry.
Must be enthusiastic, engaging, cannabis-savvy, well organized and self-motivated.
Ability to communicate in an informative and professional manner.
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitude.
Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization and with external agency partners.
Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and be results-oriented.
Knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Available to work evenings and weekends.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Ability to work a minimum of 8 hours a day and rotating shifts;
Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays;
Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;
Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;
Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions
General office environment;
Extended computer usage;
Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
